NAET Allergy Relief Clinic in Herndon, VA: NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique) was devised by Devi Nambudripad, a medical doctor, California based chiropractor and acupuncturist, in 1983, drawing on a combination of ideas from kinesiology, acupuncture, acupressure, nutritional management and chiropractic methods.
NAET is an Innovative and Natural Solution for Allergies and Allergy-Related Conditions
In an allergic person, the allergen (allergic substance) is perceived by the brain as a treat to the body’s well-being. When a person comes in contact with this allergen through foods, drinks, pharmaceutical drugs, herbs, vitamins, drinking water, clothing, jewelry, chemicals, paint, silicone, latex, plastics, pollen, grasses, etc., it causes blockages in the energy pathways called meridians.
The blockage of these pathways disrupt the normal flow or energy throughout the body’s electrical circuits. This energy blockage causes interference in communication between the brain and body via the nervous system, which begins a chain of events that can develop into an allergic response.

After this procedure, the patient with the vial in hand is asked to relax for a period of 20 minutes. This period helps the body go through the desensitization to the allergen.
At the conclusion of the treatment period, Dr. Wichin will once again check muscle response strength to the allergen and the patient will be asked to wash their hands; but this time only water is to be used. This will help any remnant bioenergetics of the substance being treated. Final written instructions are then given outlining the products that must be avoided and the length of time of this avoidance period.
